Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how a Wanban user can request deletion of an account and associated personal information.

Delete in the Wanban app

  1. Sign in to Wanban.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Review the notice and confirm deletion.

The in-app process disables access to the account and begins deletion or de-identification of associated account data.

Request deletion without the app

Email privacy@bobobans.com with the subject “Wanban Account Deletion Request” and the email address used for the account. Do not email your password, identity document, or private-message content.

We may request limited information necessary to verify that you control the account. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits, subject to verification of the authorization.

What is deleted or de-identified

Limited retention

We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary or legally required for security, fraud prevention, charge or dispute resolution, enforcement of bans, protection of users, valid legal process, DMCA records, or NCMEC and law-enforcement obligations. Retained records are restricted from ordinary product use and kept only for the applicable purpose.

Information in backups is removed through the normal backup-rotation process. Content another user independently provided, such as a report about conduct, may be retained as that user's record or as a safety record, but the deleted account will be de-identified where appropriate.

Timing and confirmation

We process verified deletion requests without unreasonable delay and within the period required by applicable law. We will confirm completion by email where an email address remains available for that purpose.

Contact privacy@bobobans.com. If a privacy request is denied, you may reply with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will provide any additional appeal instructions required by applicable state law.
